Post-Processing Services
Post-processing -especially in Additive Manufacturing- is a crucial step that involves various techniques and materials to enhance the properties, functionality, and appearance of 3D-printed parts.

Support Removal
Support structures are removed manually by cutting, breaking or dissolving using tools like pliers, knives, or solvents.
CNC machining, ultrasonic waves or chemicals can also be deployed to remove supports efficiently.
Surface finishing
To finish the surface, parts are polished or sanded to smoothen the surface or remove layer lines (due to the production process).
Smoothing with solvents or tumbling can also be applied for surface treatment.
Machining
Through drilling, milling, and turning, more precise dimensions or improved surface finishes can be achieved.
Coating & Painting
Paints and coatings are applied for aesthetic purposes, additional protection or functionality such as electro-magnetic shielding, light-absorbtion or food-safety.
Assemby Services
Tenco offers comprehensive assembly services from applying inserts to complete assemblies (with integration of e.g. electronics) or components that can be applied instantly after shipping.

Joining
Using glues or adhesives to join multiple parts and optimized fixation. Potting is applied to ensure protection of electronics and components.
Graphics application
Applying serial or part numbers, logo’s or other indication can be applied trough different techniques like Digital UV printing or dry transfer application, ensuring that indications are virtually impossible to remove.
Programming & Testing
Including test or measuring reports.
Quality Control and Inspection
Dimensional inspection to ensure parts meet your specifications.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to inspect internal features and detect flaws.
Surface Roughness MeasurementeEnsuring the surface texture meets the required standards.
COC (certificate of Conformity) to ensure the parts you receive meet your requirements.
