The development of a new pharmaceutical drug candidate takes many years of research. In an early preclinical phase, the effectiveness of a candidate drug on in-vitro cell culture cells is measured.

CellSine’s I-device makes it possible to run according tests quicker and more efficiently since well-performing lead molecules are selected earlier in the process.

By accelerating the process and reducing costs, the device eventually makes a faster introduction of new medication possible, requiring less testing on animals.

Time-to-market is key

To make a product launch possible and perform the first field tests, conventional  production would take too much time and budget to deliver the first pre-series.

Therefore, Additive Manufacturing was considered as the best option and Tenco was selected to deliver and assembled the first pre-series, enabling a shorter to-to-market.
