Peira

Peira’s TM900v2 is an application developed for tumor volume monitoring in mice, during studies, in pre-clinical oncology research.

The system is an advanced, 3D measurement method, replacing the traditional tumor volume formulas and caliper measurements.

As the development and delivery had to meet both aesthetical expectations and specific requirements regarding material properties and special coatings like EMC shielding and soft touch. For every device, 10 different parts are produced, matching Peira’s requirements.

Benefits of Additive Manufacturing

Since specific parts had to be available in limited quantities, Additive Manufacturing offers advantages other conventional technologies can’t offer:

  • No investments in tooling,
  • Low inventories,
  • No minimum order quantities,
  • Flexibility to adapt design at any time.
